Night Hunter

This painting is part of a series of endangered birds I had painted for a show. I wanted to spread awareness about this problem.
The barn owl is endangered due to habitat encrouchment.
In this series I drew two circles to show how intertwined the birds world above is with what it needs to survive in the land below the surface. The flowers are also endangered.
The barn owl hunts voles and mice in long grass in farmers fields.
